To all the moms who are thinking of running for office - don't hold back because of your kids. Do it for them. They're watching, and when our daughters see us run, even if we lose, they see that it's possible for them some day.

So when it's a piece of cloth over her face - "my body, my choice" Yet she can't understand that people want to control their own reproductive choices. 🤦‍♀️

Hadn’t seen this before. The drawing looks like is taken from a black and white photo. That dress was actually fire engine red. My philosophy was that if you can’t blend in with the surroundings anyway, might as well be really visible.

Say it again for the folks in the back! Trolls are empowered by the feeling of anonymity online, and they're vicious to women, especially women of color. Those attitudes carry over into real life, too.

You want to see a role model? Here's a great one. A veteran, a mom, a Senator.

Rather than fixing this properly, they denied multiple reps (and supervisors) that confirmed this unequal policy. PS. no one even reached out to me. lying doesn't help - fix the policy

If you are a woman and question your qualifications whether to run for office, Don’t. Run because you will change our society’s narrow perception of political leadership when elected. This is not leadership. ⬇️

Women have been in the military for decades - our service counts no less than that of the men we serve with.

Correct. This was an activist-driven slogan, not a party slogan. And BTW, people who want police reform fueled turnout for Joe Biden. Stop blaming activists for structural and societal deficiencies in our politics.

As a former Governor of Mississippi, we tried this once before:it’s called treason & it was done to protect slavery. Your ideas are as awful as your spelling

No, Kayleigh. You dishonor us by continuing to spread misinformation and aiding a lame duck administration to continue its grift and endangerment of Americans.

I am extremely grateful that I was able to take the risk of running for office, and then to start my nonprofit, because I have my healthcare covered by the VA. It's not a perfect system (that doesn't exist) - but imagine if everyone had that freedom to dream big. 6/6

What if you could leave a horrible job, even start your own business because you knew that you wouldn't go bankrupt because of a car accident or cancer diagnosis? 5/

Labor unions do a great job negotiating for their workers - but what if your health wasn't a bargaining chip for your employers? 4/

Universal healthcare doesn't mean the end of private insurance - it just means that private insurance isn't the default option. 3/

It's right there in our Declaration of Independence that we value the life of all. And we all get sick sometimes, we all need to see a doctor, we all should get flu shots. So one way to show we value all is to make sure all have healthcare. 2/

We value our veterans, our troops, and their families. One of the ways we do that is providing healthcare - through Tricare and the VA. It's "socialized" healthcare - taxpayer funded (for the most part - families of active duty can opt to receive private care for a copay). 1/

Maybe if would properly fund education here in Texas, he would know enough math to be less concerned about nonexistent fraud and more concerned with the COVID ravaging our state.

To all my sisters and brothers in arms, those who sacrificed - all in some way and some in all ways - to protect our Constitution, thank you. On Veteran's Day we remember all those who have served.
