Criminalizing sideshows and taking working class people’s cars as punishment during a PANDEMIC is PEAK gentrification
And doing so in the midst of protests about policing and police brutality??
What is @Ahsha_Safai doing?

I think I agree with Avalos here. I wonder what
@chesaboudin's stance is - SFPD can't unilaterally imprison somebody for involvement in a sideshow and I doubt our DA would want to go with that approachhttps://twitter.com/AvalosSF/status/1306441124018442243?s=19 …Cliff Bargar added,

Replying to @thecliffbar @printtemps and
Is the argument we should further criminalize ALREADY illegal acts b/c we have a progressive DA who *might* not enforce an enhancement? I hate brevity

Violence-interruption programs exist elsewhere, there can be similar approaches to sideshows.
Why aren’t electeds @Ahsha_Safai or those running @AvalosSF pushing for investing in these effective, community programs? Not policing.
