A *lot* of people in this thread are flexing like “school” and “camp” were never an option while they were raising kids.
Even Mary goddamn Poppins relied on the kindness of chimney sweeps from time to time.
Like I said, it’s been a hard, exhausting four months.

The respect for teachers and daycare workers skyrockets! They all deserve raises.

I've had a classroom of 10 very young children for 4 years and before that was a paraprofessional in public schools. I hope people realize how much we do. I also have my own kids at home too. Our center closed temporarily, now slowly opening again. I definitely missed the kids!
