In 2016, the Clinton campaign, working through its law firm Perkins Coie, manufactured a mass hysteria about Russia and Trump and a secret server, even lying to the FBI about it. So many gullible partisan journalists fell for this con job

I am not ruling out this person existing, but I’m not aware of anyone serving at the top level of Trump admin - including Pentagon - who were worried he would strike China. Chinese were getting bad Intel / conspiracy theories and US officials saw that and intervened.

On the Milley stuff, worth asking whether Trump ever sought to launch an attack on China during the transition. I am told by former senior officials that it never happened. It’s possible the Chinese got bad intel and Milley was trying to put out a fire.

Generals don’t get to have their personal foreign policies. Period. If the Woodward story is true, Miley should resign and sign his CNN contract today

. made a fool of himself at the Senate hearing today on Afghanistan. He referred to a government that Afghans took great risk to vote for, as one that “we installed.” It would have been nice if would have corrected his ignorance, but he didn’t.

If you spent your whole life trying, you couldn't come up with a better illustration of woke progressivism as smokescreen for class that perpetuates inequality than the progressive avatar at the pinnacle of conspicuous consumption being feted with a cheeky slogan across her back.

Wait a sec. Milley told his Chinese counterpart he would warn him of a pending attack? Wow. “General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.”

This morning distinguished himself in his committee’s hearing on Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal. He called out the failures of Trump and Biden. That’s his job. That’s what oversight is supposed to look like.

The essence of the Met Gala is that ultra-rich people pay huge sums to meet and be photographed with celebrities ... and then deduct their night out from their taxes. Why has no one pointed out that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez wore a "tax the rich" dress *to a tax shelter*?

Blinken says Pakistan needs to align with the majority of the international community and hold the Taliban accountable to its commitments. There’s no chance of that. Pakistan is now a satrapy of China. If you want to change Pakistan’s policy, talk to Beijing.

A moral consistency would compel those who were incensed by Trump's sacrifice of American values to be just as outraged by the Biden administration’s failure to see to America’s responsibilities. The lack of that consistency today is instructive.
