Users may not be able to tell you exactly what they want but if you observe their routine or how they perform tasks, you can figure out what they need but didn't know they needed. Which is why during user research, we need to pay attention to what users do, not what they say.

The first iteration of Facebook when it launched in 2004. Like humans, products grow too. Don't bury your product in the WIP loop while aiming for perfection. If it solves a problem, put in work & ship it. Use the feedback you receive to fine tune it. 📸

The #1 cause of startup death is making something no one wants. The #2 cause is spending too much. Those two account for so many deaths that I'm not even sure what #3 is. If you merely make something people want and don't spend too much, you're way ahead.

Policy-making is in a way like product design. How you design and when you implement has an impact on people's lives and experiences. The Lagos through the screen of a UX designer.

If you're a designer above 30 and living in Nigeria. I strongly think we need to gather here. We need to figure out getting married, raising kids, managing finance, owning a home and becoming rich as a designer. If you've been thinking about any of these, 👋🏼.

I've been wondering. Why are epidurals not the default option for making childbirth a less painful experience in Nigeria? If it's cost, can't it be subsidized? The pains & other things that come with unaided childbirth are unnecessary. Am I missing something ?
