I believe if no one was banned from Twitter on the basis of their politics then we would be in a good situation, I don't have a problem with the Anti Conservative speech, People can oppose Conservatives all they want the problem is banning Conservatives

No one is being banned for being conservative. Conservatives are being banned for hate speech. Their hate speech, endeavors to drive minority people away, making it difficult for them to rebut, a thing which you already agreed is bad.

The Speech does not drive them away it is the ban, If someone is not banned and is choosing to leave the platform then that is on them, I don't believe speech can prevent someone else from speaking, The problem is the ban not the speech.

Hate speech creates a hostile environment that prevents people from marginalized groups from being able to participate. Effectively resulting in a ban.

A hostile environment does not stop people from speaking, If someone chooses not to speak because of the environment then that is on them, They are not being forced to stop speaking they are choosing to but a ban prevents someone from speaking completely

If you were a jew, and found yourself in a town hall meeting with a bunch of Nazis, would you really step up to the podium? Could anyone blame you for not doing it? Can you not see how such an environment creates an effective "soft ban" on certain speech and people?

Yes I would, If I was in that situation then I would as long as I have my physical protection guaranteed then I would. Quite Simply a hostile environment does not stop people from speaking, I can understand that it might make it uncomfortable but it does not prevent them...

It doesn't function that way. marginalizing speech can push people to the side. For example, LGBTQ people will have a much harder time expressing themselves in a hostile environment than a cis person. Their free speech is eroded by hate speech in such a circumstance.

Do you think that demonetization is censorship?

No, Because the person is still free to speak, however,it is certainly close to censorship since it is making it harder for them to speak especially if that is their career, But as a rule no Demonetization is not censorship
