  2. These elections couldn't have happened without the hard work and careful planning from electoral services teams at local councils. also made sure that the many thousands of postal votes could reach voters and return to be counted in time

  5. 🗳️Counting has finished, and the results are in 🗳️ Last Thursday, there was a bumper set of polls, and voters across England, Scotland and Wales had the chance to vote for who they want to represent them.

  7. When does counting begin in each area? 🤔 ➡️England: different areas will count different polls at different times. Counts begin today and take place over the weekend ➡️London: counting today and tomorrow ➡️Scotland: count begins today ➡️Wales: count begins today

  8. It’s count day across England, Scotland and Wales 🗳️ The count is a bit different this year. Due to social distancing, there are fewer staff in count centres. There are also lots of elections in some areas. Returning Officers decide when the count will begin in their area.
