I wish I had a simple overdraft situation like that, nah my CU charges 20 per transaction, which means you have be extremely careful timing your transactions if you're income is fix and you had an emergency last month. Being $15 short can turn in $120 in just fees too quickly.

I get charged $12 a month by @BankofAmerica for not consistently having a certain amount in my checkings or having a direct deposit of $250.. I’m a waitress my checks are never $250 even if I did do direct deposit. It’s disgusting how banks prey on the poor. twitter.com/quiltenthusias…

Dang yea that’s insane. The BOA is a “maintenance fee” 🙄 Some people look at me weird when I say it’s expensive to be poor, but it really is so expensive to be poor.
