The fact that a reauthorization of the Patriot act was once again a rider of a National budget bill is INFURIATING to be honest. It cannot be that hard to categorize spending for social needs such Medicaid, TANF, Military family housing allowances and things that do harm 1/

Wow. House Democrats are ignoring civil liberties & including a three month straight re-authorization of the PATRIOT Act (with zero reform) in the Continuing Resolution. Very cool way to resist Trump by ensuring he continues to have terrifying authoritarian surveillance powers.

I mean not EXACTLY as written but a bill like this Absolutely MUST be brought to the floor as soon as possible. This rider concept is ABUSED by the obstructionist Establishment that will do ANYTHING to sabotage the lifesaving agenda of the #GreenNewDeal and #Progressives
