Hawaii is starting to take a heavy economic hit from the covid-19 pandemic. Many small businesses may have to close their doors, and a number of employees such as those who work for DFS and Hawaiian Airlines aill soon be laid off from work. We cannot continue to leave people
hanging during a time of crisis. We may not be certain when the pandemic will end, but there needs to be more action from Congress that’ll tackle these issues in order to keep the people afloat as long as we are unable to live our regular lives and work.
