It was a general statement regarding people starting some of the fires out West, like the six connected to the Oregon fires. And if you're trying to make me a climate change denier, I am not. I believe we can find a place between "Green New Deal" & "it's fake", to compromise.

And let's not forget the complete mismanagement by California state government to do anything to properly manage and maintain their forests. Controlled burns help prevent/manage major fires like we've witnessed. Have a good night.

You don’t even talk about want to rejoin the Paris climate accord yet claim to want to fight climate change, sen durbin made a very good point of that. Would love to hear what sort of solutions you have for fighting these wildfires and how you think climate change affects IL.

I'm running to find some common ground and discuss the issues at hand, whether it's climate change or the economy. DC has lost its ability to talk to each other, across the aisle. Everyone just talks to their own side. I'm not, nor will I be, beholden to anyone but the voters.
