I’m surprised that any up-and-coming politician makes it out of the Chicagoland machine without facing at least a couple federal corruption investigations. Barack Obama, Rahm Emanuel, Dan Lipinski...how’d they do it?

The Republicans now aren’t much better. Mark Curran is our senate nominee and he has been running a totally unserious lame duck campaign against Durbin, instead of reading his emails, he’s instigating people on the streets and arguing with people on twitter.
I don't know what you're talking about. Mark is all over the state and either he or staff responds to voters' questions and issues, whether on social media, email or in questionnaires. It's hard gaining traction when you don't have the backing of major donors or party. - Staff

I tried to contact your camp several times, by email and by contacting on website, asking if there were available volunteer or internship positions for students in state, and I never got a reply. I understand that it’s an uphill battle in this environment, but reply to emails.
