Sir - 1) I want to commend the job you did of bringing Dallas PD through the dark days after the July '16 massacre. 2) I met some of your fine officers this evening at the
#ChicagoProtests. They're great LEOs, let them do the job they were trained to do. Let them restore order.
3) Chicago is not only the greatest city in America, but the entire world. And the men and women of the CPD help maintain the law & order that make Chicago the greatest city. 4) I understand the political pressure you face. But your focus should be on officer safety at all times.

The focus is supposed to be on public safety; not the militarized “team” of secret forces against the public as their enemy combatants. LEOs are not soldiers, we aren’t enemy combatants, and the police need to be on the side of the public health and safety.
