I'm not tying myself to anyone. I'm still the same reasonable Republican I've been. I've broken with my party on several positions, including immigration and a wealth tax. I'm not a puppet of Donald Trump. But I am a Republican.
I'm unapologetically pro-life. As sheriff I was outspoken about my defense of the unborn. I haven't changed my positions one bit. So I don't fully grasp how you think I have.
