And they won't be the last. 99% of LEOs are good ppl who uphold their oath & do a thankless job. Why would they continue to do it if they're receiving even more hate? While being shamed & smeared for the actions of a few bad apples? I mean would you do that job?

I treat every person, regardless of race/color/creed, the same. I held myself & those who served in LCSO to a very high standard. I also held my officers/deputies accountable & tried to rid the office of the bad apples, union prevented that.

I'm not saying there isn't racism in
#lawenforcement. There are definitely racist LEOs, but the profession as a whole isn't racist. In my experience, there are good LEOs, chiefs & sheriffs who work to eradicate that racism. Because those LEOs negatively impact the profession.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Replying to @ElectMarkCurran @EdwardM39249448 and
I think a lot of people are saying that they don’t believe the police anymore when it comes to things like this. I keep watching black protesters get maced/pepper sprayed while a few weeks ago, we had armed men showing up at state houses and being treated well by police.

I'm not condoning the actions you're describing. Nor am I condoning open carrying of long rifles in public to protest (which hurts the pro-2A mvmnt). However, the reports I read of the armed protestors didn't involve violence or threats of. What I read of the others, did.
