You realize the point of the apples thing is that a few bad apples actually ruin all the other apples in the barrel, that's literally what the analogy means

I want to add that I held deputies & officers who violated their oath and LCSO policy accountable. I tried my hardest to get rid of the bad apples who would negatively impact the mission of the LCSO. My biggest obstacle? Police unions. No sheriff/chief wants to lead bad LEOs.

They are walking off the job because one of them was held accountable for murder. If you want to “bad apple” this why are all the “good apples” quitting because they got rid of a bad one?
