CPS actually takes care of children. Food, bathrooms, therapists, teachers, buildings to maintain, materials to purchase. That budget serves nearly 400,000 children every day, along with paying the salaries of all their teachers and support staff. What you do isn’t even close.

It’s a racist argument too - white collar suburbs spend double per kid in many cases, but in Chicago it’s somehow immoral 4 black n brown kids to get 1/2 what white suburban kids get - even though Chicago pays more to the state than it gets back and is the economic engine of IL
