And if you had a better attitude about it, we might respect you. You have NEVER cleaned up your own trash. Never. But you protect bad cops over and over. You did this to yourself, take some responsibility and you might get our trust back. We've seen your profession lie.
That's just not true. As sheriff, I took on the bad apples and held my deputies & officers to high standards. And called out the "code of silence". I know that law enforcement will only be made better if changes come from within and I made sure that change started with me.
Any reasonable person looks at your milquetoast non-accomplishments and realizes rightly that you simply don't care about police brutality, just about projecting the image of caring.
Of course, something tells me that the sheriff who only conceded defeat NINE MONTHS after he lost the election doesn't really care what the people actually think.
