Perhaps you are against personal responsibility for LEOs, but some of us were raised properly and so we demand our public servants serve with accountability. Other members sacrifice as much and more, and they do not always carry guns and badges.
I held by deputies and correctional officers responsible for their violations of LCSO policy. I took on the unions who tried to protect bad apples. I rejected the "code of silence" and held those who served with, & under, me accountable.
