That's absolutely something to debate but unless you're hiding a medical degree or background in infectious disease from us, then I'm gonna say a former local county official should take a seat to doctors and public health professionals. So Mark, sit down, and please, shut up.

No, I won't shut up. It's not irresponsible to raise concerns about protecting the liberty of Americans during this difficult time. Is that not even allowed to be discussed? Rushed action is when mistakes are made. We can have liberty + safety. This is America.

Your Party is actively working against productive/life saving measures in DC and people will die from it. You're amplifying that and it's dangerous. Trying to tap into a small fever swamp of people who don't see this crisis for what it is, is really bad politics/policy. Stop.

I'm doing nothing of the sort. I'm not saying people shouldn't listen to the CDC or guidance from state/local authorities, I've stated they SHOULD numerous times. Do not attempt to lump me in with others. I have made it clear we must have a calm measured response to this.

We've had that thankfully from the Governor, Mayor, and many local elected officials. Unfortunately, not from you, your President, or a group of IL GA Republicans. You could step up and provide a different approach, but you're not and trying to score cheap and dumb pol points.

I'm not trying to score anything. If there's one thing I've built my record on, besides being independent, is my record of keeping people safe. I did it for 12 years as Lake Co Sheriff and as a county, state & federal prosecutor. Don't try to insinuate I don't care about safety.

You don't when you're questioning the advice of MEDICAL professionals. You could be talking about what needs to be done by the Feds to prop up workers and our economy, and yet, you're focusing on some idiotic "freedom" argument when this is being done publicly for a temp period.
