It would be great if Illinois went Republican. But it's a solidly blue state. And getting bluer. I don't know what else there is to say about that. The collar counties are trending Democrat. And that's a problem.

And nobody in the central and southern part will support you.

Where have I said that? I've stated over and over, even on this discussion, that I'm working for all the voters. I'm not attempting to appeal to just one group of Republicans. I'm working every day for the votes of ALL Republican primary voters across the state.

I hope that's not the case. But that's what I have to do, build the case for my candidacy and make the argument for why my experience is best suited to take on Dick Durbin. We have to remember: our real mission is defeating Durbin next November. #ILSen

Yes sir. And while I believe Dr. Tarter is the better candidate. I’ll support you over Durbin. There’s not a huge difference but you are Pro-Life and he’s not. And that’s enough for me.
