He has accomplished a remarkable amount and his record on judges is historic. I'm just talking about political reality. We're a blue state, not Texas. We need to have a candidate in the general aware of that.

I’m not saying that, but some of your stances as far as illegals will not play well in this area. This is conservative country.
I hope that's not the case. But that's what I have to do, build the case for my candidacy and make the argument for why my experience is best suited to take on Dick Durbin.

Yes sir. And while I believe Dr. Tarter is the better candidate. I’ll support you over Durbin. There’s not a huge difference but you are Pro-Life and he’s not. And that’s enough for me.
