I agree our citizens should come first. And I want to have a secure border, funding for ICE. But the reality of governing is different than that of campaigning.
We will not get our secure border if we don't work to find a solution. #ILSen

Where have I said that? I've stated over and over, even on this discussion, that I'm working for all the voters. I'm not attempting to appeal to just one group of Republicans. I'm working every day for the votes of ALL Republican primary voters across the state.

I’m not saying that, but some of your stances as far as illegals will not play well in this area. This is conservative country.

I hope that's not the case. But that's what I have to do, build the case for my candidacy and make the argument for why my experience is best suited to take on Dick Durbin. We have to remember: our real mission is defeating Durbin next November.
