      I'm the only candidate who has actually won elected office. Not to mention, I have the credentials and experience to appeal to all of Illinois. We have to choose the best candidate for the general and that's me.

      We also need a candidate who can win in a blue state. And that's the reality. I am a conservative but also a Catholic. My principles are guided strongly by my faith and I will never apologize for that. We cannot win as a party if we continue to demonize the immigrant community.
