Why not just lower it to 12? Actually, I would favor INCREASING the voting age to 21 except for members of the armed services. If one can't DRINK responsibly until age 21, why should we think they can VOTE responsibly?
I am preparing to defend in Congress @charlesallen bill to lower voting age in DC to 16, if passed by @councilofdc. DC, not Congress, decides who votes in DC. #HandsOffDC
