TY for fighting for DC! As a Washingtonian, I proudly pay my taxes & have no desire to become part of MD or VA -- just like MD doesn't want to join Delaware & VA doesn't want to merge with WV. This is a constitutional, common-sense solution. Let's make it law & move on.
D.C. residents have no vote on the federal laws that govern them or the federal judges who interpret those laws. This begins to end on Friday, when the House passes the #DCStatehood bill.
