DC cops are diabolical - they don't take domestic violence/gender violence seriously at all. I know numerous trans women & cis women survivors of gender violence who have been utterly failed by MPD. This is especially bad for Black women survivors of DV/GV.
Cops need to start taking gender violence/domestic violence seriously: the one common denominator for mass shooters is that they ALL have a history of gender violence. Wake up Pete - your cops are a diabolical failure. Misogyny & racism are deeply entrenched in cop culture.
