#DC received only $495 million under the #Coronavirus Relief Fund in the CARES Act because it was treated as a territory. DC would have received $1.25 billion had it been treated as a state.

New York has a population of 20M and is 54,556 sq. miles. DC has a population of 700K and size of 68 sq. miles. New York received $5B. DC $495M. NY’s pop 30xs size of DC yet only receives 10xs the funding. We receive 3xs funding of New York. Tell me I’m wrong.
