(1 of 3): One month ago, the House Oversight Committee voted to send the #DCstatehood bill to the House floor for the first time since 1993, when I got the first-ever floor vote on the bill in the House.

(2 of 3): The #DCstatehood bill is expected to be on the House floor before this summer. Because we have enough cosponsors to pass the bill with the votes of cosponsors alone, we expect to make history: House passage of the D.C. statehood bill!
