Spoke on the House floor to ask remaining straggling House members to cosponsor D.C. statehood bill. We already have almost enough cosponsors to pass the bill this Congress with cosponsors alone.

If this was really about enfranchising Washington DC citizens, Retrocession to Maryland is the only realistic option. DC with gain a voting representative but also a member of the Maryland state Congressional Delegation. But no! This is about 2 permanent Democrat US senators!
