Veterans should have easy access to the services and treatment they need. If this CBOC closes, DC veterans would have to visit the main DC VA medical center or travel to Prince George’s County. In a hearing tomorrow, I’ll question the @DeptVetAffairs on their plans.
Let Vets get basic non-specialty treatment from non-VA physicians and get reimursed. Will dramatically improve wait times and quality of service at the @DeptVetAffairs facilities!!
