My husband and I had to pay for the first time in 40 years. No changes. That means no family vacation and no home repairs. That means $ is NOT going back into the economy. Someone needs to explain to me how that’s better.

I should have noted, the few $$ extra in my pension did not make up for loss of refund. Dollar for dollar we’re worse off than we have been for 40 years of marriage.
