The first part of your statement is true.The 2nd part is false and you know it. Your 3 decades of pedaling false hope has failed us in DC. @Douglass_County, MD is Statehood & it is the only path forward. It is also superior economically & with better schools for our students.
The majority of Americans do not know that DC residents do not have full home rule. Unlike in every other jurisdiction in the country, Congress can intrude in local DC matters whenever they wish. And intrude they do. The only remedy is #DCstatehood.pic.twitter.com/KPyXOyd8YM
