More than half of our undergrads @TrinityDC are DC residents and DCTAG is essential for them --- investing in their education pays many long-term term dividends for our city and nation!
The President’s budget would zero out the D.C. Tuition Assistance Grant Program (DCTAG). Yet in 2018, a Republican-requested GAO report praised DCTAG results. I defeated this same Trump proposal last year, and instead, secured $40M for DCTAG. I will protect DCTAG again this year!

Fight for us! I was in the very first class of students in 2002 that were eligible for the expanded DCTAG and without that $35,000 in funding I could not have completed my return to college at

The investment should be in UDC.

UDC does receive an investment because of the DCTAG Program. They receive several million dollars in Title III Funds because of DCTAG.
