The #1 one job of our non-voting delegate is to provide us with complete voting rights. The results of your generational occupancy of the position are awful. The politics of 51st statehood are national. @Douglass_County, MD is the way forward economically & politically. Join us.

No one was more supportive of New Columbia than me. Thirty years later, I still patiently seek to end our disenfranchisement. Let's explore the issues together.

Retrocession to Md. provides access to better healthcare, affordable housing, and education. The weakest arguments for
#DCStatehood are population and taxes. Why would you stand against positive progress?@Douglass_County@GovLarryHogan@FedCityCouncilThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I support retrocession because statehood is never going to happen. Politics is the art of the possible, so I'd rather abandon statehood and negotiate a loose affiliation with Maryland to garner congressional representation.

Bad idea. The political syncophants in DC need less power, not more. But hey, DC can have NOVA. Seems fair.

US Rep
@EleanorNorton writes a@washingtonpost "letter to the editor" to point out how irrelevant retrocession idea is (=JimCrow Plan B to block#DCstatehood) & not supported by any politicians, & briefly references how punitive it would be as DC pays more taxes.#DCstatehoodNews -
Unfortunately
@WashingtonPost posts 2 "letters to the editor", not just pro#DCstatehood US Rep @EleanorNortons rejection of@ChuckLane1 support of JimCrow Plan B retrocession, but@CatoInstitute's@Roger_Pilon best known/only voice pro ongoing JimCrow Plan A going pro Plan B too - 1 more reply
