How about getting our courts back under local control? DC court budgets have been slashed. Essentially staff is being let go. Case times are getting much longer. Justice delayed is justice denied. Let DC spend its own money on the court system. NOW.
I introduced a bill to give DC a local prosecutor. DC, not the federal govt, should solely be responsible for prosecuting local crimes.
