Because politicians are just neighbors who we decide to lead and govern to the best of their ability. They are not miracle workers, magicians, or somehow have the power to change human nature. It’s worth celebrating becaus it’s a major accomplishment few governments can claim.
The Republicans in Congress are acting cowardly by not taking any actions against 45. They act like they are afraid of him. It's ridiculous on an historic level. They really need to interview the interpreter in the meeting between 45 and Putin. It is an absolute must.
Maybe, the Republican Leadership wants an authoritarian/totalitarian gov’t. This way they can continue to destroy the American Republic and our democracy. They can enforce their beliefs on Americans without opposition. Think about it. If not true, why aren’t they stopping it.
