I don’t line manage anyone per say but I am a producer and I’ve had colleagues open up about their MH. I am always very supportive and will push to get their work and work days in order to make it easier for them until they feel able and happy to go back to their usual schedule

I’ve found in these circumstances I’ve not had to do much leg work or move mountains to make the meaningful adjustments for what they need. I find a little goes a long way, but I wonder if it’s because I’ve experienced it that I am more likely to help in such a way

I would do the same but I feel that is more under my control as a ‘manager’ - much more so than in the earlier scenario. Though I’m not sure why it should be like that
