I'm all about helping new folks get into games. But.. If you're a student, and I don't know you, and you add me on LinkedIn without introducing yourself I'm probably going to ignore that. Just a few words to show you're not just collecting industry contacts like Pokemon.
This is acutally a really good way to summarise how I feel about it too. I just wish people would add a wee message so I can verify why you're connecting. I've also had more people add me on FB which is just a big no no for me personally.
