After months of on and off trying I finally have a doc appointment. "Hi I'd like a appointment please" "Is it urgent?" ....bud this is a GPs surgery not A&E!

And not to go too deep into my mental health but yeah it could be? Isn’t this the point to see people before things get real bad? That attitude can absolutely send people away who desperately need help.

I sadly have to agree, I had to wait a long time for my appointment when I had a very bad mental state and I still felt like I wasn't taken seriously. I can only imagine how damaging it is for people who are in an incredibly dark place, it just pushes you away.
