Given the very real stresses and anxieties in the real world I feel pretty pathetic rocking back and forth over a video game.

I go back and forth with that feeling. On one hand, fun and escape. On the other hand, things are too serious to worry about games.
I wish that it was true that knowing I have a problem truly helped me overcome it. Seems to just add to the self loathing!
