During WW2, boys from
@CityofLdnSchool (including a young Kingsley Amis) were evacuated to@MarlboroughCol. The two schools shared premises, one set of boys doing games while the other was in class. Even at the height of the Blitz, no one missed a day of schooling.Show this thread
During the blitz people didn't go home and bring the luftwaffe with them to bomb granny's house you knob.
