The rights and powers of a private company are simple and clear. Their judicious use of those rights and powers are there's to decide. You want to "vote" with your wallet then do so.

*theirs. I already told you that just because something is legal that doesn't make it not a problem. Why are you appealing to this 'they have a legal right so it's fine' rubbish again? If that argument worked why would we bother having legislatures?

If you think the law is going to change in order to prevent a private company exercising it's right to refuse service then you're deluded. Do you believe government's should force private entities to accept anything? Behave!

Do I believe governments should force private entities to accept *anything*? Seriously? Yes, of course they should. Starting with obvious things like not being allowed to sell bleach in a bottle marked 'lemonade'. When should they and when shouldn't they is a sensible question...

You're confusing accept with do. I didn't say private companies could "do" anything.

Trivial distinction. 'Do' what they're told vs 'accept' restrictions on what they can do. Unless you mean acceptance as in agreement, in which case nobody was advocating for companies to be made to agree with anything anyway.

You were suggesting that legislation could be used to prevent companies refusing service.

I wouldn't use those terms but broadly yes, it could, and there's clear reason to think about whether something ought to be done. What's your point?

Seems like a slippery slope to me but hey.

It can seem like a meringue to you for all I care, you still haven't made anything resembling a real argument.
