Yes, $600 is a joke but why didn’t Trump demand $2,000 *before* this bill was voted on? He knows that Republicans aren’t going to agree to $2,000 so these after-the-fact demands are a scam to try and make Trump look good.

And then citizens blame Congress & Senate instead of him. He looks like a “savior” wanting more while actively making sure it doesn’t happen.

Oh it's congress' fault too, it never should have taken this long for a second relief bill.

Congress & the Senate and Mnuchin all agreed on a stimulus, trump refused to sign it.

This is true, but he has a point, a point that he should have made sure the congressional leadership knew, but $600 was embarrassing and shameful.
