Trump vetoes colossal $740 billion defense bill, breaking with Republican-led Senatehttps://cnb.cx/2KAhIeJ

Many of the comments on this are a perfect example of a staggering level of ignorance. Just see how many think the defense bill is the Covid bill. Oh and he vetoed this bill because he couldn't get his way on section 230 and punish social networks for being "mean" to him.

It’s not about social media being mean to him you dummy. It’s crazy how you started saying “staggering level of ignorance”

It's precisely about social media being "mean" to him, which is to say calling out his blatant and destructive lies about the election, covid, etc. Killing 230 would be a huge blow to the internet at large.https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20200531/23325444617/hello-youve-been-referred-here-because-youre-wrong-about-section-230-communications-decency-act.shtml …

You’re an idiot. You can’t even see how Biden literally put people with ties to these social media companies in his administration because they purposely helped him. Freedom of speech shouldn’t be taken away because social media companies doesn’t lik what you’re saying.

Trump is spreading clear lies and misinformation about the 2020 election. Any "evidence" he had has been dismissed by courts many times. States have certified and the Electoral College has voted. Tagging officially disputed lies is perfectly acceptable.

Except that’s isn’t true. Everyone has said they found fraud but not enough to overthrow the election. And the courts just decided not to hear the case doesn’t mean they agree or disagree.

They didn't hear the cases because the evidence was insufficient and the cases lacked merit. That means there was NO case because there was NO widespread fraud or rigging.

Except that’s not at all what was said. Everyone already has seen some of the evidence and it’s o it been a lil over a month. Courts didn’t want to get involved.
