This may seem an odd question to ask, but can you describe to me, in your experience, what it’s like to faint? I have been fortunate enough not to faint in my life thus far.

It's hideous. You lose time. One minute you're up and then you're down dazed and confused. Sadly I've experienced it way too often thanks to heart/blood pressure issues.
