I feel like there’s a cold, hard truth that people are loath to accept because of the hardship and discipline it would mean, but that there can be no successful long term easing of restrictions until an equally successful and safe vaccine is developed and distributed. Don’t @ me.

The only other alternatives are finding effective treatments to reduce mortality where getting sick doesn’t feel like a death sentence for those with comorbidities, or learning to deal with effective hygiene to reduce spread. But every reopening seems to lead to reclosing.

I mean, even to minor extents. I’ll be happy to be wrong but it would help to have an administration who would emulate who’s doing it right. Or as well as can be expected under the circumstances. It’s like we’re not even trying anymore.

Oh definitely. I’m wavering between cattle or invisible. I think to him, it just doesn’t exist, or he’s pretending it doesn’t. For the rest of his administration, I think even cattle get treated better because every one of them has market value. Not all of us do, to them.
