Then you fail to understand the difference between united by choice and subjugated by force. Comparing as equal that which Churchill envisioned and what Hitler is beyond ignorant.

Wrong. The end result of both goals is a united Europe, regardless of the methods employed. Based on current politics, the United EU is heading towards fascism anyway so forced or not Hitler may have had the right idea.

Utter bollocks. Having now looked at your timeline I shouldn't be surprised though. Ignorance is bad but you're wilfully complicit in spreading such drivel. Get back under your rock.

Your failure to accept reality is not terribly surprising lately. Unfortunately this has become far too common. Interestingly I'm not opposed to a united Europe, but I see the methods employed as clearly unproductive in fighting fascism, the real benefits are in trade.

Your idea of reality is in fact your fevered fantasy. Maybe reserve that for your hobbies and not attempt to dribble it out in serious discussion.

How's that United Europe going for you then? I see a Norwegian Defense League, widespread far right fascist movements, the golden dawn, a nordic resistance movement in Sweden, Denmark's parliament is largely influenced by fascists, France has LePen, and somehow I'm out of touch

Fortunately the majority recognize the societal cancer that fascism represents and fight against it and it's bigoted and racist out riders. You on the other hand appear to be rooting for it. You're not apatheticly accepting a perceived reality but actively encouraging it. Shame.

Then you entirely fail to understand my position. Acknowledging the real prevalence of an idea is not support of it, and criticism of violent methods is not condoning what those methods claim to be against.

Your timeline crys out the opposite. Maybe you want to read what you wrote and retweeted and have another go at defending the indefensible. Start with "maybe Hitler had the right idea".

Right, I did say that because fascism is on the rise in the EU, something we just went over. Come on now it isn't hard to understand what was meant there if you follow the conversation.

I followed fine. You compared the voluntary coming together of the EU with that of the planned enslavement and genocide of Europe under Hitler. Since we haven't eradicated the cancer of Fascism you then suggested we could have just submitted and have it happen sooner.

I did compare the end result (both wanting Europe to unite under a common flag) and mentioned that this united Europe is now leaning towards fascism something that suits Hitler's agenda more than Churchills. No, I was not implying this is a good thing quite the opposite.
