So we really don't have an equivalent of digestives here, or at least they are not popular. So those are the sorts of cookies that we eat?

Ok. We have entire aisles of supermarkets dedicated to a huge variety of biscuits!

I guess we do too, custard cremes are just vanilla sandwich cookies here for example, hob nobs are a sort of oatmeal cookie would be the closest equivalent? The closest we have to digestives is something like a belvita which is actually called a biscuit for some reason

WE too have Belvita. They're actually wood masquerading as something edible.

the other thing that I have never been able to reasonably explain is a Frito which is required to understand the concept of a Frito chilli pie. Because apparently you don't have any equivalent of our Frito style corn chips.

Fritos are kind of a special entity on their own. I can't actually think of another American chip quite like them, to be honest.

Yeah the only equivalent I can think of are generic knock off Fritos heh
