Treasury minister Lord Agnew just told House of Lords it was ‘an extremely good idea’ to make the £330bn loan support to companies conditional upon them not reducing their workforce & he would ‘take this back to Treasury.’ This is a key issue & it needs to be acted on immediately
Shocked certain checks and balances such as this weren't already baked in. Sadly we don't live in a world where all employers can be trusted to do the right thing.
